Christians, The Law Of Attraction, And “Manifesting Things”: A Warning To Beware!!!

Christians, The Law of Attraction, and Manifesting Things: Beware!!
If you are on any social media platform at all, I'm sure you've noticed the "Manifesting Money", "Law of Attraction", and "Manifesting Spouses" trend. It's everywhere!
    And if you're a Christian and you have digested some material on this topic, you have probably had one of these two thoughts;
"The law of attraction is okay to use because it's obviously rooted in biblical principles..."
 or,
"I don't really trust this because they keep saying the ‘Universe’ instead of God, and they are misquoting a lot of scriptures and not giving credit to God."
Well, whichever person you are, your noisy (nosy!) neighbor is here to provide some good advice! We want to provide those who are searching for truth with a solid Christian perspective on why they should not only be careful of such trends, but should altogether avoid delving into the dark abyss of New Age Doctrine.
Firstly, lets be clear that these teachings are only offering to do something for you that God has already promised to do.     Honestly, I believe God is probably so annoyed when Christians jump on the "new age" bandwagon. They wouldn't believe in His promises and wait on Him to provide, but they will believe in new age ‘gurus’ and wait on the "universe" to "manifest" something. They won't read His word, which is living, powerful, and chock-full of active promises, but they will
purchase expensive new age books by all different (mere) people and read them cover to cover. Please, do not be that kind of Christian!
Okay, let’s do a little unpacking. On the surface, the law of attraction/ manifestation is attractive and tempting because it appeals directly to our fleshly desires. If you want a man, manifest him. If you want some money, manifest it. It is the beginning of a very slippery slope of materialism, flesh fulfillment, and gratification. As it says in 1 John 2:15,
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”
This classic temptation technique is obviously very effective on people, because Satan used this to tempt Jesus after his forty day fast in Mark chapter 4.
He knew that Jesus was hungry (starving!), and thus appealed to his fleshly desire to eat by telling him to enjoy instant gratification and "turn the stones to bread." (Note, the devil wants YOU to entangle yourself in your own words and God-given ability to speak things into existence!)
But Jesus, being strong in his purpose, responded to the devil by saying,
"It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."
This should be a very strong model to the Saints, that when we are faced with Satan's temptation to provide a "quick fix" to our problems, to the areas where we have hunger- we must remain steadfast in our trust in God.
Ironically, immediately after resisting the enemy 3 times Jesus was ministered to by the angels of God, who were on standby all along.
This indicates that God has already sent angels that will minister and provide for our needs, provided we resist the devil! But many never experience this because they cannot resist the sensual schemes of the enemy.
Also in this passage in Mark 4, God allows us to see that the devil has the power to gift people with all kinds of material things. In the text Satan tempted Jesus with the trifold temptation of the fulfillment of a hunger, an opportunity for spiritual leadership, and the power to hold tangible power and wealth. This is what the devil has in his hands to tempt us gullible humans with!
So, this leads us to a very important question concerning the law of attraction; when it comes to "manifesting things", and "attracting things" who is the actually blesser?
Well, I can clue you in on the answer according to the Word of the Lord- If you are not praying to God and asking HIM to provide, but are instead appealing to the "universe" and speaking to the "powers that be", and spending your days "envisioning and meditating" your material desires,
its safe to say that God was not the blesser.
If that’s not enough for you, we can also look at the fruit of the blessing to determine the source.
It says in James 1:17 that
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”
 It says in
Proverbs 10:22 that
“The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”
Proverbs 10:22

This means that if we see that a blessing is producing harmful things like drug habits, addiction, suicide, and spiritual death, it has not come from the hand of God.
This leads directly to our final thought and warning; that when you manifest things through other 'spiritual powers (re- satanic powers) ' and not through prayer, you are actually endangering the true destiny that God has for you.
See, God is a good father, and he loves and is protective of His children.
Because of this, God will not give you anything that he knows is too much for you to bear, or give you something when the timing of your best interest is not yet fulfilled. Instead, He provides a perfect timeline (while we throw a fit as children do) that will make you ready to receive His blessings, and use them to be a blessing to others. As you seek God, our source for all things, He will begin to reveal your purpose, your path, and also empower you to fulfill it.
Sounds amazing, right?
 As He said in
Jeremiah 17:7-8;
“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.”
And Matthew 7:7,
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”
So when it comes to meditation, don't meditate on your material desires, opening yourself up to dark spirits to rule and reign in you (Luke 22:3), but instead do
as Psalms 1:1 says,
“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.”
This will cause you to bring forth MUCH FRUIT, in YOUR SEASON. For all the rest of those who manifest those quick blessings through ill-gotten means, they will be as the
chaff which the wind driveth away,
Proverbs 13:11
“Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.”
Which would you rather be: stable, strong, and prosperous like a great tree with deep roots, or depleted and sick by wicked blessings that don't last?
Your choice.
Below is the video that we filmed on this subject!!!!!!

Ten Scriptures To Use For Spiritual Warfare! | Words Of Affirmation To Declare Over Your Life |

My Top Ten Scriptures To Use When Engaging
In Spiritual Warfare!!!
  | WORD Affirmations |

When life hits me rough-  I turn to the word of God to get me through!
Did you know that the word of God is alive? It's actually living, breathing, moving, and embodies the power and anointing of God himself. (Hebrews 4:12, John 1:1))
Ephesians 6:17 calls the word of God “the sword of the Spirit”- meaning it can be used as a dangerous defensive weapon against the Kingdom of Satan! My life began to turn
around when I learned to quote the word of God! When I was sick, God’s word MADE ME WHOLE. Yes, made me whole! As King Solomon wrote in Proverbs 18:21; Life and death
are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it will eat the fruit therof.
Now, I know speaking affirmations is a "Big Thing" these days. And while speaking good things over your life can bring change, have you considered how much more change can be made when it’s  GOD'S word that you are speaking over your life? Whew! I shudder to think!
I recommend that you take these scriptures and tape them on your walls, on the bathroom mirrors, on your dashboard, cabinets etc. and speak them out! Take them daily, as you take a vitamin.
So today's "WORD affirmations" are for when your back is up against the wall. Come on and pick up your sword and make the enemy BACK UP so you can keep going!
Warning; these scriptures have been known to inflict serious pain to the devil, and make him flee in fear! Handle with Caution!!!

My Top Ten Scriptures To Declare During Seasons Of Intense Spiritual Warfare:

10 “The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.”
Deuteronomy 28:7

9: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33

8: “Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.”
Psalms 44:5

7: “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”
Romans 8:31

6: “... be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.”
2 Chronicles 20:15

5: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”
Luke 10:19-20

4: “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
1 John 4:4

3: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
Ephesians 6:10-11

2: “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
1 Corinthians 10:13

1: “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”
Isaiah 54:17

When a scripture jumps out to you, write it down! Declare it until it gets in your spirit: and watch that WORD change your life!

And remember, Don’t be ashamed to be Noisy For God!!

Christian Perspective On The #Metoo, #racewar, Movements and The Like: Forgiveness Must Be Paramount

 A Christian’s Perspective on The #MeToo Movement
{ Please Make Sure We Walk In Love! }

Even if people don't forgive you, God still does. This is an important thing to remember both for the victim, and the victimizer. Certainly we live in a day where people have stepped into the judgement seat of God. People's entire lives are being ripped apart through one bad decision- by the hands of people who are certainly imperfect themselves. This is in NO WAY meant to downplay the pain or testimony of any victim, but instead an admonishment to revisit the scriptures to find the mind of God.
Surely, Romans 3:23 reminds us that "All have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God."
So who then, should pick up a stone and throw it? I know I can't! Even if I could throw a stone in one area, surely I would be stoned to death in another! And this is the ugly truth is the place of humility from which I believe God wants his church to minister.
We posted a video in 2018 where we dug into the total truth about the topic of judgment: where we have become mistaken, what the bible actually says about judgement, and how the church can fulfill God's desire for us to judge (Hint; it doesn't look like what we are seeing on social media right now!).
For non-victims and victims alike, we must be very careful about slandering, sharing, and  laughing about these matters- because God has transformed some very unsavory people in his Word and made them into leaders of integrity. (ONLY GOD CAN DO THAT!)
David was an adulterer, a murderer, and his children committed incest: 2 SAMUEL 11
Moses was a murderer: EXODUS 2
Jacob was a liar, and a thief: GENESIS 27
Rahab was a harlot: JOSHUA 6
And this list could seriously go on and on! The bottom line is that because we have all been saved by grace, we too could easily add our own names to this list. And although we know that movements such as the #metoo #metoomovement have raised awareness (which could potentially stop future rape and molestation), there are some serious issues with these movements that must be realized and rectified within the church.
Firstly, the bible has given us a formula for handling conflict: Matthew 18:15-17:
“Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.”
This kind of private reconciliation doesn't appease the lust of the flesh to crucify the person publicly, but instead deals with finding peace and forgiveness. When we cause people to "pay" publicly, in many ways we are trying to play the role of God. It also shows a lack of faith in God, as if we don't believe that He is the righteous judge :
“To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.”
Deuteronomy 32:35 KJV
Praise be to God, we are dealing with a righteous judge!  He will make sure that everyone gets what they deserve- although many of us ought to pray that we don't.
Please remember that GOD LOVES YOU. He has made you a promise in Galatians 6:7;
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”
Lastly, please believe that forgiveness is the way to healing. It may not be easy when we are facing terrible situations, and I know this firsthand, but lavishing in the joy of seeing someone else torn apart is only a temporary fix. For our own sakes, God has spoken that we must forgive.
“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Matthew 6:14-15
